What is the Legislative Branch? This branch of the Student Government Association is, quite simply, the Student Senate - consisting of Senators and Caucus Chairs. The four colleges within the university (College of Letters & Sciences, Professional Studies, Natural Resources, and Fine Arts & Communication) are represented on the Senate by elected students. These colleges are directly represented by a number of Senators proportional to the enrollment of those colleges. One Caucus Chair is elected within each college through "plurality of the Senators in each respective college", as stated in the SGA Constitution.
Student Senate meetings are held every Thursday at 6:00 pm in the DUC Legacy Room.
We encourage you to attend and find out what's happening on campus!
