-Public Affairs on 90FM

Want to make your voice heard? This might be a great way to do it.  We are going to send 90FM the details to Celebracion Hispana in order to get enough publicity out to the public.  If you know any other issue or event that you think you would like to have broadcasted on 90FM don’t hesitate to contact them.

-Celebracion Hispana

The 4th annual Celebracion Hispana will take place Saturday September 25th, 2004 in the Laird Room.  Doors will open at 4:30PM.  Tickets are on sale now: $5 for student $10 for non-student if you purchase ahead of time.

Also we will be having our Education fair, so if you are interested in making a presentation on a certain Latin American country or a famous Latino please contact Alyssa Brown and let her know you are interested.  We will also need volunteers to help with decorating, cooking, as well as all the other last minute things. So if you are interested in helping do not hesitate to contact anyone on the exec board.

-Activity Brainstorm

All work, and no play make SALSA members crazy.  Plans were discussed to have a fun meeting at least once a month just to give the SALSA members a time to relax and enjoy each others company.  Ideas for fun activities were to go bowling, have dinner one evening at the great Mexican restaurant El Mezcal, going to the movies or even just getting together to watch a movie.  If you have any other ideas or suggestions as to what can be done, please let us know.
