Celebration of Teaching
The Oscar W. Neale Celebration of Teaching banquet and award ceremonies is supported by the Neale Family Foundation, and is also named in honor of the late Oscar Neale, who was the director of rural education in Stevens Point from 1915 to 1944. At the Banquet, each education student organization awards a teacher that they feel deserves recognition for their teaching efforts and accomplishments.
This year KDP presented Allison Bancker with the Award of Excellence in Teaching.
