What is InterVarsity?

We are students who have come to know Jesus Christ as our personal savior and are committed to serving him as Lord. We come from many different church backgrounds but unite to share our faith in Jesus and help one another grow as disciples and witnesses of Jesus Christ. We are not a church, but we attend churches throughout the community where God's word is taught. We are recognized as a student organization at UWSP.

Purpose Statement:

"In response to God's love, grace, and truth: The purpose of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is to establish and advance at colleges and universities witnessing communities of students and faculty who follow Jesus as Savior and Lord: growing in love for God, God's word, God's people of every ethnicity and culture and God's purposes in the world."
