If you missed out on this event, there’s always next semester! The International Olympics is held every fall semester and the Fang’s Cup every spring semester. It’s never too late to form a team and start practicing! These events are open to all, but members will get a discount.
This year, we had quite a large number of students who signed up for this event! There were five soccer teams, three basketball teams, and three volleyball teams. Everyone displayed great talent and the competition was close!
In the end, the I-Team won the soccer tournament, the Tahara’s Special team won the basketball tournament, and the Persian Empire team won the volleyball tournament. The winners were awarded their trophies during the International Club’s End-of-Year party on Friday, April 26, 2007. Congratulations to all winners!

Winter Fun Night
(Pictures) When: Thursday, Feb 1st
Where: Iverson Park
Time: 7pm-10pm
Pick up: Pray-Sims lobby @ 6:30pm
Once a year, there is a special day in February. A day of magic, full of tradition and history, it is surely not to be missed. It is a day when you come out and dare yourself. It is a day when if you have something in your heart, you let it out. It is a day of laughter, fun, bonding, and, of course...LOVE. We are, of course, talking about Winter Fun night at Iverson Park! So join us - the International Club - as we profess our love for winter and have fun with it. We are going to sled, snow fight, and sled again - believe us there are so many ways of doing so. We love winter!
Update: The winter fun night was an awesome night of fun! Over 30 members showed up to tobaggan, sled, play on the ice, hold snow fights, and more! It was extremely fun. Many members had to go inside the shelter once in a while to keep warm as it was quite cold! We had hot chocolate to keep us warm. If you didn't come, you missed out! But the snow will still be here for a while and there's always next year! (;
0120 Appleton Trip
The Appleton trip was a great success and great fun. On Saturday, 20th Jan., having filled up all available spots, our group of 14, made up of mostly new students, drove off in two vans. Soon enough, we found Fox River mall and then lost ourselves in the shoppping crowd. We bought shoes and shirts, looked at hats and jackets. We also went to Burlington coat factory. So the whole day we hunted for deals. And, at Koreana, we ended it with a good meal.
