The studio is composed of both majors and minors studying music education, music performance, or a B.A. in music. 

The UWSP Horn Choir is directed by Patrick Miles, professor of horn and director of orchestral activities. The ensemble, established in 1991, has performed on campus every fall and hosted the annual UWSP Horn Choir Festival. The Horn Choir also has performed at the Wisconsin Music Educators Association Convention and played the national anthem at a Brewers game.  Horn choir is open to any UWSP student that plays the horn.
