GTU – Geography Club Meeting Minutes

                                             September 12, 2005

                                            11:00 am

                                            Present: Anna Hess (President), Jonathan Hanes (Vice President), Anders Huseth  (Secretary).

1)      No minutes from previous meeting

2)      Introduction officers

                  A: All officers present with the exception of Miss Gerbert (Treasurer) and  Dr. Larsen (advisor)

3)      Discussion of Lab Manual sales responsibilities.

A: Times and dates were assigned for many of the remaining time slots

     with the exception of a few later in the week

4)      Conversation pertaining to the objectives for GTU for the benefit of new officers

5)      Discussion of holding another Photography contest for the students of the Geography Department

A: Entry fee was determined to remain the same from the previous 

     semester (a fee of one dollar per entry)

B: Drop Box location was also determined not to be changed from the

     previous semester (It will remain in the office for ease of contest 

     entry)

C: Decision of need to copy winning entries for a poster in the B hallway

6)      Discussion about the annual Halloween candy sale

A: Development of a current letter for this year

B: Revised letter is to be taken to Campus Printing and Design for

     production and mailing

7)      Bumper Sticker and Mug Sales

                  A: Discussion of sales strategies for mugs and stickers were determined
