  Halloween Candy Bags

            Candy Committee will be:

                         - meeting Monday Oct. 1 @ 5pm in B347

            Bags are going to be filled on Monday Oct. 29 @ 4 pm – room is TBA

Delivery of bags was suggested to be on Tuesday 10/30/01 or Wednesday

10/31/01 – no final decision was made

  Conferences

            There are two conferences that are happening this fall.

            One is in Manitowoc, the other is in Joliet, Illinois, check the bulletin board

in the Department office for more information on either of these.

  Bonfire

            Dr. Lemke has offered to hold a bonfire at her home, as she has done

before. We decided that we would like to take her up on this offer.

  Earth Science Week

            October 7 – 13

            See Dr. Hefferan about the possibility of going to elementary schools to

do demonstrations.

  Contributions to Groups

            National Geographic subscription renewed

            Ice Age Trail Foundation membership renewed

-          also $50 to help with printing costs of a new booklet
