GTU/ Geography Club Meeting Minutes  4/13/2006

                                            Present: Anna Hess (President), Jonathan Hanes (Vice-President), Abby Gebert (Treasurer),

                                            Gina John, Christie Winkelman, Pam Roberts, Corinna Neeb, Blaine, Jill Roberts,

                                             Valerie Havel, Carl Blaine, Zach Grweling

1.  Future Officers

            a) If anyone is interested talk to any of the current officers, Dr. Larsen, or Dianne

            b) If possible, current officers should mention the elections in their classes

            c) The nomination dropbox will be located in the projects room

            d) The following positions are up for election: President, Vice-President, Treasurer,

                Secretary, Web Designer

2. Devil’s Lake Trip

            a) April 29, 2006; 8:00 am-4:00/5:00 pm

            b) Sign up on Dr. Larsen’s door by April 28; please indicate if you can drive or if you

                need a ride

3. Candy Sale

            a) Buy the goods on Tuesday afternoon and deliver them on Wednesday and Thursday

            b) We are expecting approximately 30 orders

            c) Possible items for the bags: taffy, packs of gum, candy bars

4. Spring Banquet

            a) Tickets are free for GTU members; $12 for non-members, $16 for non-students

            b) There will be a Middle Eastern dance performance

            c) Develop a slide show that can be displayed in the background
