Our purpose is to provide French/francophone cultural activities and a relaxed atmosphere in which to speak French for all UW-Stevens Point students who display an interest and/or working knowledge of the French language and francophone culture.

Semester Activities:
La Causerie/La Tchatche
Members of the Cercle français gather to chat informally in French. We encourage speakers of all levels to join us whether to practice and build language skills in a non-academic setting, or just to get together and socialize. Watch for e-mails advertising this event!
Watch films in French
We gather to enjoy du cinéma francophone to maximize our exposure to the French language while gaining a broader familiarity with francophone culture. Thursday, October 16 at 7 pm is the first movie night, watch for an e-mail for more information!
(We include English subtitles and welcome all Francophiles join us)
Prepare and taste French cuisine/Dine at French Website
Learn how to make and devour some of the tastiest French food and desserts ever known, and we hope to organize a trip to a French Restaurant

Bake Sale/Cheese Tasting
Raise money with a French bake sale (cookies and fortunes) and use the funds for a cheese tasting
