Wisconsin River Survey

Description: 
To perform a fyke netting project to obtain information on a variety of fish species in the Stevens Point Flowage of the Wisconsin River.  Assistance from the local 12 Apostles Musky Club and the Wisconsin DNR help make this project a success.

Dates:
The main species we are trying to target are walleyes and the ever elusive muskellunge.  As a result fyke nets are set in late October for the Fall survey and in early spring, right after the ice melts, for the Spring Survey. The survey will take place this fall on October 20-23, 2005. Contact Seth Herbst and Chris Badtke for more information.
