Wisconsin River Survey

Description:
To perform a fyke netting project to obtain information on a
variety of fish species in the Stevens Point Flowage of the Wisconsin River.
Assistance from the local Walleyes for Tomorrow and the Wisconsin DNR help make
this project a success.
Dates:
The main species we are trying to target are walleyes and the ever
elusive muskellunge. As a result fyke nets are set in late October for the
Fall survey and in early spring, right after the ice melts, for the Spring
Survey.
