Trout Unlimited Projects
The Trout Unlimited Frank Hornberg Chapter, representing the cold-water resources of Portage and Wood Counties, offers valuable opportunities for trout enthusiasts to get their hands wet in stream habitat work and fly fishing adventures. The Frank Hornberg Chapter offers students in the Fisheries Society the opportunity to learn about issues concerning local trout streams, trout habitat construction, and a partnership improving the water resources we are concerned about. Volunteers in the Society provide manpower to the Frank Hornberg Chapter while implementing their habitat projects. There are preliminary plans being developed for a joint project on a portion of the Tomorrow River. Contact Eric Struck for more information regarding involvement with TU projects.
