The UW- Stevens Point Fire Crew meets in CNR 170 every Thursday night at 6:00 PM.

  Interested in becoming a Wildland Firefighter with the UWSP Fire Crew? Here is what you will need:

1. Complete Basic Wildland Firefighter Training.

  • S-130- Basic Wildland Firefighter

  • S-190- Introduction to Wildland Fire Behavior

  • L-180- Human Factors in the Wildland Fire Service

  • I-100- Introduction to the Incident Command System

2. Complete all paperwork required by UWSP to be a member of a student organization. Turn in copies of your Wildland Fire certifications to the Crew secretary.

3. Pay organizational dues.

4. Complete the Work Capacity Test (Pack Test) annually.

5. Complete the RT-130 (Wildland Fire Safety Training Annual Refresher) annually.
