This tournament will be open to spectators (so invite your friends and family!). It will be a foil only tournament, with a possible exhibition match in sabre and in épée. Everyone will be guaranteed at least 5 bouts, possibly more. It will be in HEC 110 on Saturday December 8th. Registration opens at 12:30pm and closes at 1pm. Bouting will begin shortly there after. There is a suggested donation of $1 per friend or family member who comes.
There will be an armoury workshop on Monday November 26th at 6pm in CCC 207. This will cover repairing non-electric foils, sabres, and épées. Weapons and tools to practice on will be available, although you are more than welcome to bring your own.
This semester's Fencing Club fundraiser will a bake sale in the HEC. It will be on Tuesday November 13th, from 9am-4pm. We're going to be selling mostly puppy-chow, as that is the biggest seller. We will have a variety of other items as well.
The Halloween Party will be held at 7:30pm in the Programming Room in the basement of Baldwin Hall on Friday October 26th. There will be food and drinks, and costume-wearing for all!
Yes! The week of September the 18th will have the first meetings for both returning fencers AND new fencers! Come and check out the club and learn some fencing!
It's back to the Big Top! We'll be making our presence known at the Debot Tent from 7-9pm on Thursday September 13th. We hope to see you all there!
