MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY |

On October 22nd, 2006, the Environmental Council took part in the Make A Difference Day activity. We raked leaves for a woman who had a TON of trees in her yard but had recently broken her arm, leaving her unable to do the raking on her own. It was great fun, and we're looking forward to doing it again! |

Environmental Council, in conjunction with the Residence Hall Association, helped run a Campus Clean-Up event. The even was similar to Adopt-A-Highway, but students took trash bags around areas of campus and picked up the litter they found. Often times this happens right before the snow and right after the snow melts as these are prime garbage-finding times. |
