Since the Exams... (December 20, 2004)
Before the exams there were 2 events held by CCC. Mainly the Fundraising Event, which was a huge success, and the General Meeting! We sold all our Krispy Kremes and made a huge profit despite the fact that the beverages didn't go too well. As for the General Meeting, a play on marriages was presented the same night of the Fundraising Event (December 9, 2004) to those who came. They also had a great opportunity to learn how to play Chinese Chess! Everyone had a chance of trying out the game. Officers are now planning ahead for next year's big event, the Lantern Festival! If you have any ideas, feel free to contact any of the officers.
11/19/2004 Fundraising Meeting (November 19, 2004)
CCC officers as well as the UNSO have decided on the day for the fundraising event! It will be held on the 9th of December from 8am-11am in all academic buildings (CCC, CNR, CPS, SCI), and from 11am-2pm at UC. Krispy Kremes will be available as well as beverages at a cheap price. You can now order doughnuts in dozens. They will be freshly sent over on the 9th of December. Simply look for officers from both organizations and ask to fill up the order form. Faculty and staff members, as well as students living in Pray Sims who order will get a free delivery of doughnuts. For more information, look at the upcoming events section. CCC officers will be having a meeting to talk about the fundraising event tonight. The meeting will be held at 5:30pm at the CCC building in room 402.
December...? (November 17, 2004)
The CCC officers have been planning for a general meeting, and it's about time! Meanwhile, the official date and time has not been confirmed.
Certain topics have been brought up, including information on Chinese marriages and learning to play Chinese Chess. Members have expressed interest in these topics.
Please email any one of us with additional suggestions on what you hope to see during the meeting!
We have also been planning ahead for next semester, and decided that we need to raise a little money to buy good food for the Chinese Lantern Festival in spring. This is to ensure that all of you can get tickets for a great price!
CCC is working with UNSO for this fundraising event!

Chinese Movie Festival (November 16, 2004)
Today was the last movie day of the Chinese Movie Festival organized by the CCC. The movie played is called "The Sent Down Girl", also known as "Xiu Xiu". It was meant to be played last Tuesday. However, due to technical difficulties, it was postponed! Thanks to all who showed up again today. We hope everyone enjoyed the movie!
