It may demonstrate flowage through confined and unconfined aquifers as well as the effects of pumping on these aquifers.

It can demonstrate many things including:

bullet

Cone of depression

bullet

Principles of artesian flow

bullet

Well interference effects

bullet

Two directional flow to a river

bullet

Rain recharge effects on contaminant depth

bullet

Groundwater movement through two textures of material and through an artesian aquifer

bullet

Contaminant dispersion and dilution in an aquifer

bullet

Groundwater inflow and outflow in a seepage lake

bullet

The piezometric surface above a zone of saturation

bullet

Leakage of lagoons, landfills or similar structures into groundwater

bullet

Water quality stratification in the aquifer with narrow zones of contamination

bullet

One directional groundwater flow with a change in water level over the two feet length of the model

bullet

Salt Water Intrusion

bullet

Hydraulic Fracturing and Ogallala Aquifer
