Next Week: Guest Speaker Emily Backes
from the Sustainability Reserve
"I believe that people should join AWRA for three reasons: friendship, experience, and connections. The UWSP student chapter of AWRA prides itself on being friendly and open to every student who wants to join. Our student chapter is also very willing to get new members involved with the ongoing projects. Through these projects, students learn valuable techniques that they can use in the professional field. Joining AWRA also provides members with a chance to make connections with professionals in the water and soil field. These networking opportunities provide a valuable chance for students to get their names out there and to get noticed by professionals before they graduate."
