Summer 2010: August 16 – September 3
The European Union (EU) has emerged as a major political, social and economic force in the world today. But what compelled the highly competitive European countries to move beyond conflict to such unprecedented cooperation? This study tour will take you to key institutions of the European Union and to various historic sites to help you understand the growth of a common European identity. Students wishing to pursue careers in business, government and education will benefit from a firm understanding of the EU, and this study tour will add a valuable component to their résumés. With additional visits to museums, historic sites, music halls, castles and cathedrals, the study tour will help you understand—and enjoy—Europe today.
