  STUDY ABROAD PRIORITY DEADLINES:

***FINAL DEADLINE:  SEPTEMBER 26, 2016 -- ALL WINTERIM 2016 AND SPRING 2017 PROGRAMS

DECEMBER 1, 2016 -- ALL SUMMER 2017 AND FALL 2017 PROGRAMS 

All application materials must be printed. There is no online application process available.

 *NOTE: You can fill out the application electronically if your computer runs the most recent version of MSWord for PCs, but you will still need to print it out to deliver to the office.


LONDON Internship/Externship Application: There are additional forms and documents required for the London Internship/Externship.  Students must complete the standard study abroad application packet AND the documentation outlined in the following: LONDON INTERNSHIP EXTERNSHIP INSTRUCTIONAL AND SIGNATURE SHEET

Tier 4 VISAs are required for the placements and UWSP International Programs will help you get one; be aware, however, that any criminal record involving a custodial term of more than three days in the last five years will disqualify you from admittance to the program as the British government will not grant you a VISA. 

   

Teaching in Japan Note:
UWSP Students applying to teach in Japan should come by the International Programs Office for the additional form needed to apply for this program.  You can also see it: Japan Summer Description and Application.pdf

PRE-ACCEPTANCE MEETING:
The Pre-Acceptance meeting is an initial orientation session for study abroad participants covering general information on program selection, the application process, academic and non-academic expectations of all participants, financial obligations and basic health and safety requirements.   

All study abroad applicants must participate in a Pre-Acceptance Meeting.  This is required before acceptance into a program.  You are encouraged to bring questions! 

Sessions are planned throughout the term .  They are held in Communication Arts Center, RM 300.
