Judy is responsible for providing academic,
career and personal counseling, college
planning information and career advising to
the Upward Bound students. During the
academic year, Judy travels to target
schools to provide academic support services
to program

monthly basis. She
also plans and coordinates facilities and
activities for the Fall and Spring
Workshops, College Campus Visits as well as
Parent/Participant Workshops. In
preparation for the annual Summer Session,
Judy arranges the use of campus classrooms,
housing and facilities and develops student
and teacher class schedules.
Judy also plans the summer
session activities and coordinates with
program staff to make sure all field trips
are organized and conducted efficiently.
A smaller yet important of Judy’s job is to
track the postsecondary placement and
success of program graduates and collect
data used in performance report and grant
renewal writing. |

Alexandra brings many years of
experience to her position as Assistant to
the Director and Upward Bound Program.
Her responsibilities include providing
administrative support to the Director and
Coordinator/Academic Advisor and during the
summer session |

Walking, resistance weight training, flower
gardening designing stainless glass artwork, antique
collecting, reading and decorating. |
