Picture (23x211, 1.8Kb)     The fall workshop is an event held every October in a northern or central Wisconsin location.  The fall workshop reunites Upward Bound students and staff for weekend long activities that emphasize the college planning and career decision-making process.  College representatives and other guest speakers from different professions are brought in to conduct workshop sessions on such topics as college preparatory credits needed for college admission, choosing a major, choosing a college, academic survival skills, time-management, cultural awareness and/or team building.  During the evening and overnight hours of the workshop, students have recreational free time for games, playing sports, watching movies or just simply socializing with friends.  These sessions maintain group focus.
