- The ethical principles of The Belmont Report and the legal requirements
of the Federal regulations for the protection of human subjects (45 CFR 46) are
incorporated into the guidelines governing human subject research at UWSP.
- As an investigator you are expected to know and apply these requirements
to your research.
- There is an IRB at UWSP that reviews and approves all research conducted
utilizing human subjects whether at this institution or in collaboration with a researcher
at another institution.
