The IRB-Human Subjects meets on the second Thursday of each month.  Protocols requiring full board review must
be submitted at least one week prior to the scheduled meeting. 

Protocols that pose no risk to the subjects and do not use subjects from vulnerable populations (minors, for example)
are eligible for Expedited review and may be submitted at any time.

The IRB requests that all protocols are submitted prior to the end of November for Fall semester and prior to the end of April for Spring semester.  The IRB does not meet during Winterim and the summer.  Any research requiring approval prior to the beginning of fall semester should be submitted by the April deadline.
