If you have an interest in Central Wisconsin archaeology and are committed to preserving the past, but did not know where to turn, this is your opportunity to participate in an organization that can fill that void and make a difference. You are cordially invited to join the newly (re)established Central Wisconsin Archaeological Society.

The primary goal of this non-profit organization is to serve the communities of Central Wisconsin as an educational resource, increasing scholarly and public understanding of the areas rich archaeological history and promoting the preservation of our fragile, non-renewable cultural resources.

The Central Wisconsin Archaeological Society meets once every month between September and May. No formal meetings are held during June, July, and August. However, members will be notified of field trips or other archaeology related events that may be scheduled during these summer months.
