Congratulations, Master’s Degree Candidates!
All
master's degree candidates for December graduation will be conferred within
the ceremony of their college:
*10 a.m. College of Letters and Science and College of Natural
Resources
*1 p.m. College of Fine Arts and Communication and College of
Professional Studies
Candidates in College of Fine Arts and
Communication:
At the commencement
ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 19, you will be hooded by a representative from
your college, and will receive your diploma cover from the dean of your
college.
Candidates in
College of Letters and Science :
At the commencement
ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 19, you will be hooded by a representative from
your college, and will receive your diploma cover from the dean of your
college.
Candidates in
the College of Natural Resources:
It is your option and responsibility to contact directly the
CNR faculty member you prefer to hood you at the ceremony. You must
supply the name of the individual who has agreed to hood you by e-mail to
Stacey Allen-Bannach in the CNR administrative office.
Candidates in
the College of Professional Studies:
The college has arranged to have a representative from your
academic area to be present and to hood you at the ceremony. There is no
need for you to contact us regarding hooding.
For your
information:
Tassels are worn on the left side of the mortarboard at all
times. Carry the master's hood over your right arm during the
procession. Make sure the hood is unbuttoned.
