In addition to a major in Sociology a student may select a concentration in Adult Life and Aging consisting of a minimum of 15 credits. Of the 15 credits, at least 9 shall be from the listed Sociology courses and at least 6 shall be from the listed cognates.

Students interested in practicing social work with geriatric populations should consider taking social work courses in addition to the concentration in adult life and aging.
