Welcome to the School of Health Care Professions! 

Our faculty and staff are ready to assist you in achieving your health career goals and are devoted to providing you with an outstanding educational experience. Our undergraduate programs are challenging and rewarding. Majors include clinical laboratory science (options in medical technology, cytotechnology, histotechnology), health science (options in health care administration, health care informatics, physical therapy, occupational therapy) and pre-nursing.

We are confident that you will find a fit for you! Through an interdisciplinary approach and practical experiences, you will be prepared for the real world or for admission to advanced professional or graduate programs. Employment for health care professionals is increasing and diverse opportunities will be available well into the future.

National Medical Laboratory Professionals Week April 22-28, 2012. UWSP Clinical Lab students join the celebration!
CLS-Medical Technology majors, Jessica Gustavson and Stephanie Cisewski, receive the Chancellor's Leadership Award. This award honors graduating students who throughout their careers at our university have contributed significant leadership, demonstrated campus and/or community service and shown a commitment to personal growth.

CLS-Medical Technology major, Stephanie Cisewski, receives the Albertson Medallion Award. This award honors graduating students who have exemplified outstanding qualities as a leader, a scholar, and as a citizen on campus and in his/her community. The Albertson Award is given to no more than 1% of those graduating each year.​
