The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point School of Health Care Professions offers the pre-nursing course of study in cooperation with the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Students spend four to five semesters at UW-Stevens Point completing prerequisites for the nursing program and general education requirements for UW-Eau Claire. The advising department in the School of Health Care Professions will assist students through the competitive application process to UW-Eau Claire College of Nursing. The nursing program is an additional five semesters and following successful completion, students will be awarded the Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UW-Eau Claire.
BSN Completion Program
The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point School of Health Care Professions in collaboration with the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh College of Nursing, is offering a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree completion program. Prospective candidates include licensed registered nurses and students at the end of their associate or diploma degree nursing programs who wish to seamlessly continue their education to the baccalaureate level.
