The UWSP Safety and Loss Control Department provides guidance and direction on the UW System Administration and UWSP international study and travel abroad policies and recommendations. This includes information on mandatory and voluntary insurance needs. See Study Abroad page for more information.

The UWSP International Programs office has authority over all credited UWSP international programs. They can be reached at 346-2717. This office has developed a study abroad emergency plan entitled "Managing Real and Perceived Emergencies Abroad". See the below link.
