Prospective Students

We're excited that you are considering UW-Stevens Point as the university you will attend.  The Residential Living department is committed to creating a place for you to live where you are supported not only in your classwork but in the other areas of your life -- social and community service, included.

The UW System Board of Regents requires that all freshmen and sophomores at four-year UW institutions live in residence halls.  Here at UW-Stevens Point, we interpret the freshman and sophomore years to be the first two years immediately following your graduation from high school.  Additional information on the policy can be found here.

Some of the most frequently asked questions by prospective students include:

How do I apply?
Can I choose my roommate?
What should I bring?
How much does it cost to live in the halls?
Can I have a single room?
What is the layout of a room?
