ACES (Achieving Career Exploration through Service) is a one-credit pass/fail class that is offered only to sophomore and above students who live in the residence hall.
The class is a combination of career exploration activities, resume/cover letter building and writing, interview information and service learning projects. Each student needs to choose a service learning project on campus or in the community and give a minimum of 10 hours towards the project. Class participants share in a final presentation how the experience benefited them and the organization and skills they learned in the process.
The first class was offered Fall 1999. The class is only offered in the fall at this time.
