Residential Living

Summer Hall

Staying in Stevens Point for summer classes? Need a place to live? Consider staying in the summer hall.

Applications for the summer hall are available online or through our office.  For summer 2016, residents will be accommodated in the Suites@201; individuals will be assigned to a private bedroom and share the suite with three other individuals.

Accommodations are provided on a weekly (defined as Sunday to Saturday) basis.  Cost is $135/week.

Anyone attending summer school is eligible to live in the summer hall.  If you have a spring and/or fall housing contract, you may also be eligible to live in the hall (see the application packet for details).

There is no meal plan offered during the summer session, but residents are able to purchase PointCASH through the PointCard Office.  Using PointCASH, you are able to utilize a number of dining facilities both on and off campus during these weeks (for specifics, please refer to the PointCard Office website).

Summer housing contracts are available online beginning April 8.  If you are unable to print the contract (it is a pdf file) and you do not live in Stevens Point, we will be happy to mail a contract to you (send us your name and mailing address).

Assignment information is mailed approximately two weeks prior to your arrival.  Individuals signing up for housing to begin on May 20, 2016 or May 21, 2016, will be notified of their room assignment through their UWSP EMAIL ACCOUNT on Friday, May 19, 2016. Individuals living in the Suites@201 may be required to relocate within the building for summer accommodations.

PLEASE NOTE: The Suites@201 will be deep-cleaned this summer. Cleaning is scheduled for May 31 through July 1. Each week, our summer cleaning crew will be cleaning an entire floor. As a result, if you will be staying with us during these weeks, it is probable that you will need to vacate the suite you are in and relocate for the time period (1-3 weeks) slated for your floor. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
