Hall signup 2017
Overview

Individuals who graduated from high school in 2016 or 2017, are required by the UW Board of Regents to live in residence halls unless they are commuting from their parents' permanent home which is located within a 40-mile radius of Stevens Point.

If you live in the halls now (spring 2017), you have priority in selecting a room for fall 2017.

(Sign-up for Suites@201 and Hyer Hall has been underway for several weeks; if you are interested in contracting for either, please contact Residential Living immediately - the process outlined here does not apply to these halls.)

To secure a room for fall 2017, you must pay your $125 housing prepayment and submit a housing contract.

The application link (in the column to the right) will be available beginning Monday, April 10. To maintain your priority standing, you must do this not later than Friday, April 28, 11 a.m. (NOTE: this is a change!)

Individuals submitting their housing contract/prepayment by April 28, 11 a.m. will be "defaulted" to their spring room. If you wish to have the same room next fall, there is nothing additional you need to do. If you want to change rooms or halls, be sure to read the information on selecting a new room.

Spring 2017 residents may apply online for traditional residence halls. This option is available April 10-28 only if you wish to maintain priority for your spring 2017 room.

Individuals who submit their contract after April 28 can still apply online beginning May 1, but will lose priority for their spring 2017 room.

If you have a friend who is not living in the halls this spring and with whom you would like to live next fall, follow the directions on requesting a roommate.
