Stationery for UW-Stevens Point
includes letterhead, envelopes, fax cover sheets, mailing labels, business
cards, notecard/invitations and nametags. They are one of the primary means
of establishing an image of the university when making one-to-one contact
with individuals off campus.
Letterhead displays the logo and signature at the left margin. Name
of the department or unit will appear underneath the signature on the left
with a maximum of three lines. Address information on the right can be a maximum
of four lines and may include mailing address, phone, fax, email and Web site.
Names of individuals are not used.
Letterhead prints black on white stock. You may use white 24#, 25 percent
rag content paper, or for large mailings you may use 20# bond laser printer
compatible paper.
Contact the publications coordinator to request an electronic template or
hard copy masters. Templates/hard copy will be created as quickly as possible
on a first-come, first-served basis.
Revisions to letterhead must be approved by the publications coordinator.
If your current letterhead does not look like these examples, please stop
using it. See page 24 for suggestions regarding alternative letterhead. The
only approved electronic "downloadable" letterhead is issued by
the publications coordinator. Please stop using any other electronic version.
Letterhead will be printed by an off-campus vendor once every few months.
Order through the publications coordinator.
Envelopes are printed in the Friz Quadrata font and must include the
logo with the return address. An account number for use by the mailroom may
be printed in the top line of the return address. The zip code must appear
in the bottom line of the return address.
Nothing may print below the zip code except approved Post Office terms
for address processing.
Names of individuals generally are not used in the return address.
