This site contains materials for a college level undergraduate statistics course. The approach places emphasis on practical application. Examples are shown with hand computations and with the Minitab statistical program (V13.1). There are a couple of spreadsheets as well.
The material is divided into chapters and consists of text, tables, equations, and figures, in a hypermedia format. Minitab tutorials and some Excel spreadsheets are linked to the chapters as are homework assignments. The material is designed for use in a classroom with a presentation device. The students typically print the lectures (preferably on a color printer) in advance.
The text used as a supplement for the course is McCall, R. B. (2001). Fundamental Statistics for Behavioral Sciences (8-th edition). NY: Harcourt, Brace and Company.
