Coroner Scott Rifleman said an alcohol overdose led to Mosinee resident Elvio Misoni's death. Friends found Misoni lying facedown at his home, 832 Second St., a little before 3 a.m. Sunday.
Toxicaology results released Tuesdav indicate Misoni's blood-alcohol level was 0.425, Rifleman said. "We consider 0.4 to be a leathal limit of alcohol, he said.
It likely will be months before results of a full toxicology exam are competed, Rifleman said. The early test results indicate that an intoxicated Misoni lost consciousness, then breathed vomit into his lungs, he said.
Friends told authorities they last saw Misoni at 8:30 p.m. Saturday. When they returned to the residence, they found him and called 911. Police and fire-crews responded and transported Misoni to St. Michael's Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
