Currently, I serve as the Psychology Department Human
Subject Pool (HSP) Coordinator. This means that I am responsible for
managing both the students who use the subject pool (PSYCH 110 students)
and the researchers who use the subject pool. The links below take you

Introduction to
Psychology Research Requirement |
 |
 |
|
All students enrolled in Introduction
to Psychology (PSYCH 100) are required to satisfy a Research
Requirement. The goal of this requirement is to help familiarize
students with the research enterprise. This requirement can be
satisfied in two ways: 1) by being a participant in two units of
psychology research, or 2) completing a review of an appropriate
psychology journal article. |

Guidelines for Use of the Human
Subject Pool |
 |
 |
|
All student and faculty researchers who wish
to use the Human Subject Pool must follow a series of
guidelines. These guidelines have been established to ensure
that both the ethical standards of the discipline have been
satisfied and that the HSP runs in a smooth and orderly fashion
from semester to semester. |

This site is designed to integrate the various web links regarding the conduct of research here at UWSP. It was begun as a support site for students enrolled in the Research Practicum Seminar. It provides UWSP links on ethics, data management, and much more. [Please note this is under heavy development at this time.] |

Department of Psychology Assessment |
 |
 |
|
As required by UWSP, the Department of
Psychology re-assesses its curriculum in specific and its
program in general every couple years. Past assessments have
shown that the Department continues to meet its own very high
expectations and that students are quite satisfied with UWSP's
psychology program. |
