Wayne Lerand Award

Wayne Lerand, a Doctoral graduate of Colorado State College, came to UW-SP in 1966. He was both a professor and a counselor during his time at the school. The Chairman of the Psychology Department from 1975-1981, Dr. Lerand began the Psychology Club. A truly dedicated staff member, he retired from the University in 1997. The L. Wayne Lerand Award for Student Leadership in Psychology began in 1998.
