Jack Holmes Award

John Holmes, received his doctoral degree from the University of Iowa. During his years as a professor, he ran the Cognition laboratory and was also the Chair of the Psychology Department from 1981-1987 and 1990-1993. The Jack Holmes Award for Scholastic Achievement at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point was started in 2004 and is given to the Junior Psychology Major with the highest overall GPA.
