Differential tuition is a separate tuition, over and above the base tuition set annually by the Board of Regents. Differential tuition is used to fund campus-wide initiatives that improve students’ overall educational experience and increase students’ ability to graduate in a timely manner.Today’s graduates enter a rapidly changing global society and a knowledge-based economy in which critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and practical experience working with information, ideas, and diverse groups of people are essential to success. The Pointer Compact is a shared commitment among the students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point to ensure that our graduates are equipped with the highest quality education to succeed in this environment.
