Six large introductory laboratories are well equipped for the study of astronomy, mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity, magnetism, optics, and modern physics. Advanced experimental work is conducted in specialized solid state, atomic, molecular and laser physics laboratories.
In addition to teaching labs, the Department houses a number of research labs used in the study of
Condensed Matter/Solid State and
Atomic & Molecular Physics/Optics.
