Can God do Absolutely Everything?

 

God is supposed to be omnipotent and so he should be able to do everything … right? 

 

As strange as it might seem at first, most philosophers and theologians believe that we’re logically compelled to maintain that there are certain things that an omnipotent being can’t do. Here’s why.

 

 Consider the following question: “Can an omnipotent being create a stone too heavy for him to lift?”
