IMPORTANT NOTICE:  Pre-registration is now required for all monthly Civil Service exams given at the exam centers throughout the state.  The deadline for pre-registration is Wednesday, November 4, 2009.  After November 4, you will no longer be able to pre-register or view the job announcement.  If you have not pre-registered, an exam booklet is not guaranteed.

The following is a list of Civil Service exams scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 2009 for classifications used on this campus:

  • Cook 1 and 2 (statewide) – job code 0301869

  • Custodian Lead (statewide) – job code 0200371

Information on pre-registration is in the “How To Apply” section of the job announcement. Applicants may register online at Wisc.Jobs or by calling the pre-registration phone line at (608) 266-1536.  From the home page in WiscJobs, select the Monthly State Exams link on the left side.  Next, select the “Exams Administered on...” link, and select the title of the recruitment you are interested in.  Read and review the job announcement.  WiscJobs will guide you through the pre-registration process.

You select the exam location when you pre-register.  After the pre-registration deadline date, you will no longer be able to pre-register or view the job announcement.

Applicants will receive confirmation after they have registered.  Bring your confirmation letter to the exam site with you.  The letter is your ticket into the exam.  If you forget the letter, please see a proctor and confirm that you are pre-registered.  If you are on the proctor’s list, you will be allowed to test.  If you are not on the list, you may be asked to wait until pre-registered applicants are checked in.  If space and exam materials are available, you may be allowed to take the exam.

Only pre-registered applicants are guaranteed an exam booklet.  Walk-in applicants may be allowed to take the exam if extra exam booklets and space are available.  You may be asked to wait until pre-registered applicants have been checked in and have received their exam materials.  The Chief Proctor at each exam center will determine if they have space and an exam available.
