Welcome to UWSP Athletic Training

Have you ever watched a sporting event and noticed the exceptional care given to an injured athlete by those individuals who are called upon to provide assistance? The transition from player to patient is sudden and needs to be handled with a great deal of care and compassion. A career as an athletic trainer through our School of Physical Education and Athletic Training will allow you to fill this highly important role.

The Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training prepares you to prevent, evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate injuries and illnesses related to physical activity. At UW-Stevens Point, you'll be part of the first comprehensive athletic training major in the state and benefit from a cutting-edge learning environment with small class sizes, active academic advising, engaged faculty, superb laboratory facilities, and top-notch practicum experiences.
