Beginning October 1st, 2007, all airfare booked online must be purchased through Travelport.

You may continue to use a “brick & mortar travel” agency of your choice (i.e. Marathon Travel is a local option, contact information provided below) or book airfare by telephone directly with an airline.
October 1, 2007 is the official implementation date for this contract at UW Stevens Point. Airfare that was previously purchased and purchases through September 30th are not subject to the mandatory contract requiring the use of Travelport.

- A phone call to Marathon Travel will connect you with Tanya, Lindsey or Kathy, Travel Agents servicing UW Stevens Point travelers. Payment for the airfare must be purchased with a Purchasing Card or UW Corporate Travel Card.
- The service fee is $25.00 per ticket. There is no additional fee for exchanges, voids and refunds. The airline ticket change fee remains at $100.00.
The Direct-Bill payment option is available only as an exception when use of a Purchasing or Travel Card is not possible – contact Jean Sukow at ext. 2255 if you have questions.
Both Marathon Travel and Keystone Travel offer the “Direct Bill” method of payment for airfare purchases. Complete either the Keystone Travel or Marathon Travel “Direct Billed Airfare Request” form, fax the agency-specific form to the appropriate agency, and send the original form to Jean Sukow, Travel Manager, Payment Services, 041 E MAIN.
