LODGING

 The maximum amount reimbursable per day for all in-state lodging (excluding cities in Milwaukee/Racine/Waukesha Counties which are $80) shall be $70, excluding tax, through June 30, 2006.

As of September 16, 2005, in-state lodging must be at a site listed on the State of WI Lodging Contract.

Out-of-State cities are reimbursable at $70 per day unless listed as a higher cost city in Appendix D, UW System Travel Regulations. Employees may, with proper documentation, exceed the lodging maximums when staying at a conference site.

 MILEAGE 

Vehicles

  • 48.5 cents per mile when a UW/State vehicle is not available or mileage does not exceed UWSP's breakeven point of 100 miles roundtrip (effective 7/1/08).

  • 46.5 cents per mile when a UW/State vehicle is not available or mileage does not exceed UWSP's breakeven point of 100 miles roundtrip for travel taking place prior to 7/1/08.

  • 36.5 cents per mile when a UW/State vehicle is available and mileage exceeds UWSP's breakeven point of 100 miles roundtrip (effective 12/1/08). 32 cents per mile for travel prior to 12/1/08.

  • When a state vehicle is not available, a "Certificate of Non-Availability" provided by the Transportation Dept must be presented in order to qualify for mileage reimbursement at 48.5 cents per mile.

Handicap Equipped Vans  

  • 66 cents per mile when a UW/State van is not available or 61 cents per mile when a UW/State van is available

Motorcycles

  • 28.5 cents per mile
