Employment Fair
The annual Paper Science and Engineering Employment Fair will be held at UWSP on Thursday, October 2, 2008, from 5:30 - 8:00 pm. This is an ideal opportunity to meet our students, present information about your company and to arrange for one-on-one interviews to select your co-ops and interns.
The location of the event will be announced at a later date, pending space availability on campus.
This event is similar to a trade fair. When you register, you will have a designated table and area where you can set up a booth to distribute brochures and other promotional items. In this informal setting, you will be able to meet all of our students and to arrange to interview those that meet your hiring requirements. We will provide a complete set of Paper Science and Engineering student resumes to registrants prior to the Fair.
This Employment Fair is timed especially for employers desiring a coop for either the spring or fall semester. For those employers who also want to interview juniors for a summer job and speak with seniors for a permanent position, the Employment Fair will provide contact with these students as well. Please note that participation in the Employment Fair does not preclude you from contacting the Paper Science and Engineering Department and arranging on-campus visits and interviews later in the school year. The Employment Fair's purpose is to provide equal interviewing opportunities to as many companies as possible.
