UWSP Paper Science Certificate Program

 

The Paper Science Certificate program provides recognition for completion of a specified course of study designed to enhance academic preparation in Paper Science studies.

 

The Level One Certificate in Paper Science requires:

 

• Admission to the Certificate program by the UWSP Paper Science and Engineering faculty, and

 

• Assignment to a a UWSP Paper Science faculty advisor

 

Admission to subsequent Paper Science Certificate programs requires completion of the preceding certificate or its equivalent and recommendation of the UWSP Paper Science faculty advisor.

 

A grade of C is required for any course which is to be applied to a certificate.

Completion of Level Three course work (excluding the upper division Paper Science and Engineering courses) satisfies pre‑requisite courses for admission to the junior year in the Paper Science and Engineering bachelor degree program. Admission to the junior year in the UWSP Paper Science and Engineering bachelor degree curriculum requires a 2.00 GPA.
