UWSP Paper Science Foundation
The UWSP Paper Science Foundation has been providing scholarship
grants to Paper Science and Engineering majors since 1974. Scholarship
checks for as much as $1,200 per semester are given to students who

Wausau Paper Scholar
The Wausau Paper Scholar is given each year to the sophomore who
achieves the highest grade point average in the freshman paper science
and engineering program. The recipient of the award will continue to be
designated as a Wausau Paper Scholar and currently receives a monetary
scholarship each semester, provided they remain a declared Paper Science
& Engineering major and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The monetary amount of the Wausau Paper Scholar Award is $1,000 per
semester to a maximum of $6,000.
TAPPI is the leading association for the worldwide pulp, paper,
packaging, and converting industries. Founded in 1915, TAPPI has grown
into the world’s largest professional association serving the pulp,
paper, converting and packaging industries. TAPPI’s members look to the
association for information, education, and knowledge-sharing
opportunities. TAPPI offers several scholarships for those students
attending pulp and paper undergraduate programs. TAPPI scholarship
